Student Ministry

Jesus said, “Go and make disciples . . .” in what we recognize as the Great Commission. The Apostle Paul told Timothy, “Do not let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity.” Our desire here at Woodmont is to disciple students, encouraging and building them up so that they in turn will be an example for other believers and so they themselves might be disciplers. We want to teach students the essentials of discipleship, help them discover their spiritual gifts, and give them opportunities to exercise their gifts. Through opportunities for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, missions, and ministry, we believe God will grow spiritual warriors that will be equipped to stand and serve, to His Glory.
