Our Program
King's Kids uses a Bible theme/literature based curriculum that will provide opportunities for your child to explore, wonder, question, create, and play while engaging in age-appropriate learning activities designed to stimulate the minds of these active learners. We utilize various learning centers, by emphasizing cooperative play and working together. We integrate language, pre-reading, writing and pre-math skills through projects and plans that are fun and creative. We encourage the children to do things for themselves and help others.
"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6
Our Philosophy
King's Kids Preschool began in the fall of 1992 as an outreach educational ministry of Woodmont Baptist Church. The first five years of a child's life are crucial to his/her development. We realize that a positive preschool experience sets the tone for years to come. We provide a wholesome, safe, nurturing environment that will meet the needs of each child's spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive and physical growth. Our prayer is that we can make a lasting impression on the future of your child. This ministry will reinforce the fact that God loves your children.
Our Staff
Our teachers have a love for children. They are very dedicated to teaching and the ministry of preschoolers and their families. They provide a variety of activities each day, which come from our curriculum requirements and their training and experience in early childhood. All of our staff keeps up-to-date on current ideas and teaching by attending various training sessions each year.
