Let Everything that has Breath Praise the Lord
In Luke 19:40 Jesus said, “I tell you, if these were
silent, the very stones would cry out.” (ESV)
Yesterday in our worship gathering our worship team
introduced you to Psalm 150 (Praise the Lord). I want
to encourage you to spend some time meditating on
Psalm 150 and listening to this new song.
There is a phrase from the hymn Take My Life, Let It
Be that grips my heart every time I sing it; “Take my
voice and let me sing always only for my King.” You
may not consider yourself a singer, but if you are a
follower of Jesus Christ, you are a worshiper. God is
calling you to use whatever voice you have to worship
Him with every breath you have.
A Psalm of Praise.
Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse.
Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.
Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.
Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! (ESV)
