Table Talk Questions – Eph. 4:26-28; 5:3,15
1. Proverbs 14:29 says “Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.” Describe a time in your life when someone’s anger (or your own) displayed folly and became embarrassing.
2. In what location are you most prone to be angry? (Home, work, ball field, school, church, etc.) What could the location reveal about your faith in God in this area of your life? How can you trust the Lord more in this area?
3. How can delighting in the Gospel of Jesus conquer anger and unforgiveness? Read over the sayings of Jesus from the cross; how do these encourage you to show grace and compassion to those who have hurt you?
4. How does anger disrupt and distract us from the mission of making the name and grace of Christ Jesus known to all people?
