The Mission
Woodmont Baptist Church exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ from all generations who will make disciples of all nations in all generations for God’s glory.
The Vision
Woodmont is intentionally multi-generational because the New Testament reminds us that younger believers have a lot to learn from mature believers that have walked longer and gone deeper with Jesus and His word. We are intentionally striving to connect people to Christ, to His word, and to other Christ-followers. Woodmont does this by providing large group Bible-studies called Bible Study Connections and Extra Connections. These groups are open groups that welcome all people to come and study the word together. Many of these groups meet at 9:00 AM on Sunday morning across the campus of Woodmont. These are offered for every generation. A second option that we are striving to provide is discipleship groups. These are closed groups of three to five believers that join together at various times during the week to provide Christlike community, accountability, and fellowship at the deepest levels. Woodmont serves the community and the world in an effort to make the good news of Jesus Christ known. Local, domestic, and international mission work, service projects, and various other ministries exists to make disciples and lead disciples to encounter more people needing to hear about salvation, freedom, and grace in Jesus.
Our worship gathering at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings seeks to encourage the believers through Christ-centered worship, teaching, and fellowship.
