Ministry 256 is our ministry to kids in the 4th - 6th grades as they mature and age out of some things, but age into a whole new world of discovery! At Woodmont, these kids enjoy their own hallway of classrooms and large group space that you’ll hear us call ‘the Galaxy.’ The Galaxy is located at the top floor of the ‘B building’ and can easily be accessed by entering the normal Woodmont Kids Check in Desk.

Wednesday nights this group currently has elementary Kids Choir with the whole 1st - 6th Grade group followed by missions in the Galaxy floor.
Events & Trips
Occasionally the 256 ministry will host game nights, worship nights, pool parties and more!
The last Sunday in July is our 256 Luau. Our rising 7th Graders are saying Aloha “Goodbye to kids ministry and hello to student ministry.” This special night is fun for the whole family of each of these kids as we celebrate this life transition and also welcome up our new 4th Grade families.
Each Martin Luther King Weekend we take a trip just for our 5th & 6th Graders. This is a special privilege we hope they look up to at this age. In even numbered years we take them on-mission or a Friday - Monday Gospel-centered hands on mission project. In odd numbered years, we visit the Ark Encounter in Kentucky.
Each May our 4th-6th graders participate in a musical presented by our Kids Choirs. They are the leaders of this group and are given first choice for any speaking parts or solos.

If you are considering helping with this age group through weekly teaching, event based help, or even hospitality/greeting, please let us know.
